  Navigating the special education process can be complex, emotionally challenging, and, at times, overwhelming for families. Whether you have concerns about your child’s experience in the school setting, need guidance on requesting evaluations, or are addressing concerns related to an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan, it is essential to remain focused on your child’s unique needs. I provide support in a collaborative, non-adversarial manner, with the goal of keeping your child’s best interests at the center while helping you better understand your rights, responsibilities, and available options.

Special education advocacy is intended to help ensure that students receive a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) and are able to access the programs, supports, and services for which they may be eligible. Effective advocacy promotes meaningful collaboration among families, special education professionals, school administrators, and related service providers, all with the shared goal of supporting positive educational outcomes for students with learning differences and related needs.
